"Finally, prices that were actually clear"
I’m usually complaining about hidden fees, random add-ons, and prices that suddenly change at checkout, but this was straightforward. The pricing was easy to understand from the start, and there weren’t any weird surprises popping up later. I hate when companies make you dig around just to figure out the real cost, so it was nice not having to complain about that for once.

"Pretty easy analytics to work with"
I’ve found the analytics in Lightspeed really useful for keeping an eye on what’s selling and at what times. The reports load quickly, and most of what I need is easy to find without clicking around forever. There are a couple little things I’d tweak, but nothing that really gets in the way. Overall, it’s been a big improvement over what we were using before

"Pretty good store tools, with a few bumps"
Setting up my ecommerce store was sorta straightforward, and the products sync fine for the most part. Checkout works well, but editing pages can feel a little clunky sometimes. Support did help me out, it just took sorta longer than I was hoping.

"Fast and reliable when it counts"
It runs quickly and stays steady, which makes a real difference when I’m trying to get things done without waiting around. I haven’t run into many bugs, and the checkout process feels smoother and less frustrating than it used to.

"Lightspeed gives me the basic sales..."
Lightspeed gives me the basic sales reports I need, like daily totals and which items are selling, so it definitely gets the job done. My main issue is that it can feel a little clunky when I’m just trying to find a quick number. I end up clicking around more than I’d like, and I don’t love feeling like I’m losing time on something that should be simple. Exporting reports is helpful, but it’s not always as smooth as I’d expect. Overall it works fine, but for what it costs, I was hoping the reporting would feel a bit more polished.

"I’ve had a decent experience with the..."
I’ve had a decent experience with the retail tools overall. The sales features work well and make day-to-day transactions smooth. Inventory is where it gets hit or miss, though. Sometimes it’s fine, but other times the stock counts and updates get confusing and take extra time to sort out.

"Mobile site could be better"
The site works well when I’m on my laptop, no real complaints there. But on my phone, a few pages feel kind of cramped and take a bit longer to load than I’d like. I can still get around and use it, so it’s not a dealbreaker. It just isn’t the smoothest experience. it reminds me of trying to read a menu on one of those tiny restaurant tables where there’s never enough room for your drink and plate. Anyway, it’s okay overall, just better on desktop than mobile.

"Solid hardware, thankfully not a letdown"
I was a little worried I might be getting fooled by the listing, but the hardware feels really solid in person. It works good so far, and I’m glad it actually seems as sturdy as it looked.

"Took me a bit, but the training helped"
I was kind of expecting setup to be a whole thing, especially because I’m not always the fastest at figuring out new systems. I clicked around a little, got confused once or twice, and then ended up going through the Lightspeed training videos and guides. After a while, I realized they were actually easy to follow. It was nice being able to pause, go back, and check things again without having to call support for every small question. Definitely made the setup feel a lot less stressful than I thought it would be.

"Good system, but the fees sneak up on you"
We’ve been using Lightspeed in our shop, and overall it does what we need. Checkout is straightforward, and the reports are useful enough for keeping an eye on things day to day. So from a basic POS standpoint, I don’t really have any major complaints.
The frustrating part has been the transaction fees. They seemed manageable at first, but after a busy month, they really started to add up. I also wish the pricing had been explained more clearly upfront, because when I asked about it, I kind of felt brushed off instead of actually heard. It’s not a bad system, just ended up being more expensive than I expected

"Pretty good integrations, with a few rough spots"
Lightspeed connects with quite a few apps, which has been helpful for us. That said, maybe a couple of the integrations didn’t run as smoothly as I expected, and setup took a bit longer than I thought it would. Overall, it’s been okay, but I’d say it’s not quite as flexible as we were hoping.

"It works fine for my small shop, and..."
It works fine for my small shop, and I haven’t had any major issues with it. I’ve used a few similar tools in the past, and this one is definitely decent, but the monthly cost feels a bit high for how much we actually use it.

"Wish I’d checked the features more closely"
It works fine for the most part, but I regret not looking into it more before buying. Some of the features feel kind of unfinished, and I ended up needing extra tools for simple stuff I assumed would already be included.

"Getting everything set up was smooth..."
Getting everything set up was smooth at first, which was a relief. I was feeling good about it, but then the training part felt kind of rushed and left me a little frustrated. It wasn’t terrible, just a bit of a mixed experience overall

"Good enough inventory, just caught me at the worst times"
Lightspeed inventory has been decent for the basics. Adding products is simple enough, and I do like being able to check stock levels without having to click around forever. For everyday tracking, it mostly does what I need.
The frustrating part is that the little delays or messy variant issues always seem to happen at the worst possible time, like when I’m trying to update things quickly or pull a report before moving on to something else. Some of the reporting feels more complicated than it should be, too. It’s not a bad system, but for the price, I really wish the inventory side felt a bit smoother.

"I got it set up without much hassle..."
I got it set up without much hassle, which surprised me because I’m usually the one who messes up anything tech-related. Day to day, it’s been simple to use, and if something takes me a minute to figure out, I’m mostly blaming myself, not the product.

"Pretty good when it’s not acting up"
Lightspeed is fine most days, and I don’t want to make it sound worse than it is. Maybe we just hit it at the worst times, or maybe our shop gets too hectic during rushes, but we’ve had a few slowdowns right when checkout is busiest. It usually sorts itself out after a bit, but when there’s a line of customers waiting, it gets stressful fast.
Support has been okay, not terrible, just not something I’d rave about. I guess I also don’t always have time to sit there troubleshooting properly, so that probably doesn’t help. I don’t hate the system, I just wish it felt a little more dependable for what we’re paying.

"Clear enough, surprisingly"
The contract terms were actually clear, which was a nice change because apparently that’s not always a given. Support got back to me quickly too, so I didn’t have to spend my day chasing answers. Overall, no surprises, which is basically all I was hoping for.
